Great..if you’ve been following this video series, now you have a video blog post up and ready to deliver quality content to your readers… but where are your readers?? (This is a follow up post to – How to create your first video blog post – EASY! )
It’s not enough to write and create great content because great content doesn’t do ANYTHING if no one sees it. So how do you get readers. Well since this is a VIDEO blog post, I’m going to focus on the VIDEO aspect of it.
But just know that there are literally hundreds of ways and sites than can help you promote your blog post, both FREE and PAID.. but for now, let’s stick with free video promotion strategies
The first thing you want to do is share the video on different VIDEO sharing sites with a link back to that particular blog post. This is a great strategy because sites like YouTube, Google Video, and Yahoo Video get millions are views every single day, so sharing your video on those sites will probably get you some good free, targeted traffic overtime.
But although YouTube is one of the BIG DOGS, it’s definitely not the only player in the game. There are many video sharing sites out there, so what I’ve done is compiled a list of all those sites for your convenience. Here they are:

You’ll need to register to these sites if you don’t have acounts wtih them but once you do, jjust upload your video to these sites with a link back to the blog post you want to promote and you’re golden.
Another service that has proved helpful for my promotional efforts has been Tube Mogul. It’s a free service that allows you to blast your video to 12 – 15 video sharing sites with a push of a button. It’s pretty cool, and you should check it out if you’re serious about video blogging, and you’re on a tight budget.

You’re 100% correct.. the fact that they DON’T get as much traffic as YouTube means that less people are actually on them uploading videos, adding value and promoting their business..

Hey Hector,
This is an awesome list for people that are looking to take video marketing by storm.
I have the viper quicktag feature enabled on my blog, so these video sites were the first on my list.
As I continued to research the search engines, I found more and more.
Tube Mogul is a great site, the only problem is I keep on getting my accounts suspended, oops, lol.
Traffic Geyser is another powerful site, even though it has a monthly fee, I recommend checking out the $1 trial to get your feet wet.
